LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — Trailing 40-35 at halftime, Thomas went on a 17-3 run to start the second half and walked off with an 89-73 win over upset-minded Lyndon.
Franklin Salvador had 20 points and five assists for the Terriers (12-10, 9-7) and Martin Cleveland added 19 points and 10 rebounds. Stanley Greene Jr. had 15 points, four assists and two steals for the winners while Taurean Easter collected 16 points and nine rebounds.
Ben Sackett (Lyndonville, Vt.) had 15 points, two blocked shots and two steals for the Hornets (4-18, 4-11) and Steve Gantt (Washington, D.C.) had 15 points two blocks and two steals off the bench. Devyn Baranauskas (Waterbury, Conn.) had 11 points and three assists in the loss and John Williams (Springfield, Mass.) grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds in the loss.
