LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — Tim Reilly and Brian Gillis scored five goals each to lead New England to a 25-1 North Atlantic Conference men's lacrosse victory over Lyndon. With the win the Pilgrims improve to 7-6 overall and 5-1 in the NAC. The loss drops the Hornets to 0-9 overall and 0-5 in conference play.
Matt Goyette and A.J. Aitoro added three goals each for the winners while Garrett Naimie, Koda-Wataka Robinson, and Adam Shute chipped in two apiece.
The NEC trio of Chris Galluzzo, Cody Kitson and Keith Young combined to make fives saves for the Pilgrims while Matt Reynolds (New Fairfield, Conn.) and James Strange (Southington, Conn.) turned aside 16 shots in the Lyndon net.
Tim Patten (Springfield, N.H.) accounted for the lone Hornet goal of the afternoon. The tally came with only two seconds left in regulation time.
